More recently they have been gaining popularity for their use in inheritance planning.

Of course this is only the tip of the iceberg and they are a complex subject with as many pitfalls as there are benefits.

Trusts can be used for any number of purposes including but not limited to tax planning and can be used in both a personal and business context.

Due to their complexity they are generally best considered as part of a more comprehensive financial review.
